How Other Features Work with Subaccounts
- VIP
- Does subaccount trading volume affect VIP level?
- Trading volume from all subaccounts and the main account is combined, making it easier to achieve VIP levels and enjoy fee discounts.
- Where are rewards and rebates credited?
- Referral rewards and marketing campaign rewards: Credited to the main account.
- VIP trading rebates: Credited to the account where the trade was executed.
- Does subaccount trading volume affect VIP level?
- Yield
- The on/off setting applies to all accounts. The system calculates yield based on assets in each subaccount's spot wallet, but all generated yield is credited to the "main account." For more details, please refer to Yield FAQs.
- ROI
- Each account (main account and subaccounts) has its own ROI for spot wallets, which do not affect each other.
- When transferring assets between accounts, the average cost of that asset is transferred along with it and continues to update based on the destination account's trading activity.
- API Token
- API settings are global. Both main accounts and subaccounts can generate API tokens for the main account or any subaccount, facilitating automated trading management.
- How are invoices issued for subaccounts?
- The system consolidates transactions from all your accounts and issues a single invoice. Separate invoices are not issued for each subaccount.
- Can subaccounts view trading history from other accounts?
- Subaccounts can only view their own history. The main account can view transaction details from any subaccount.
Subaccount Deletion and Asset Handling
- Will my balance disappear after deleting a subaccount?
- No. When deleting a subaccount, if there are available balances remaining, the system will automatically transfer those assets back to your main account.
- What situations would prevent subaccount deletion?
- If a subaccount still contains any assets, deletion cannot be completed. Please cancel all open orders and transfer all assets to your main account before proceeding.
- Can I still view historical records after deleting a subaccount?
- After the sub-account is deleted, its history will no longer be available. Please download and save the data before deleting the sub-account.
- Is there a limit on how many subaccounts I can delete?
- Yes. To ensure system stability, the daily limit is 4 deletions per day.
- Note: If the limit is reached, please wait until the next day. Note that subaccount IDs are incremental; for example, If you currently have Account IDs 1 and 2, deleting ID 2 and creating a new account will result in the new account being assigned ID 3.
