2025/04/14 Clarification on Chunghwa Post’s Designated Transfer Policy Adjustment

Dear MaiCoin Users,

We have recently observed that some users experienced account-related issues after linking their Chunghwa Post accounts as deposit accounts. Upon investigation, these issues appear to be related to recent policy changes implemented by Chunghwa Post. To help you better understand the situation and ensure the smooth use of your account, we would like to provide the following information:

  1. Chunghwa Post will no longer accept deposit accounts from any virtual asset platforms, including MaiCoin, as designated transfer accounts starting immediately.
  2. Any previously designated transfer accounts will become invalid starting May 28, 2025, and will no longer benefit from designated transfer limits.
  3. Some users have reported that after linking their Chunghwa Post account, Chunghwa Post may implement risk control measures on accounts linked to such platforms, affecting normal financial operations and account usability.

If you wish to change your deposit account, you can do so directly via the MaiCoin App and select a different bank account to ensure uninterrupted service.

  • For MaiCoin App: Tap on Profile (bottom right)→ Level (upper right)→ Bank AccountUPDATE BANK ACCOUNT

For your reference:

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Sincerely,

MaiCoin Team
