- What’s ETH 2.0?
- ETH 2.0 is the transition of Ethereum from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake. The actual staking process requires a minimum of 32 ETH with a lock-up period stipulated. At MaiCoin, we offer short tenor, highly liquid staking services to our users.
- When can I redeem my ETH?
- You will receive your ETH staked within 5 business days after the product is settled. To renew your subscription, you can enable the auto-renewal option.
- How does MaiCoin manage my ETH?
- MaiCoin utilizes multiple platforms (e.g. Kraken, Binance, Coinbase, Cybavo, Lido, etc.) to manage ETH 2.0 staking and liquidity.
- Will my realized yield fluctuate with the realized yield received by MaiCoin?
- It won’t fluctuate within the tenor of the product. Normally, you will receive the yield as stated on the product; you can find more details at https://www.maicoin.com/en/yield/eth2-staking/tou. MaiCoin absorbs the yield risk within the tenor of the product.
- When should I expect the full launch of ETH 2.0?
- We estimate the full launch to be in 2022 ~ 2023. We suggest you follow the latest updates from Ethereum Foundation.
- Is subscription renewal guaranteed?
- Enabling auto-renewal does not constitute a guarantee of future product subscriptions. MaiCoin also reserves the right to terminate ETH 2.0-related products anytime. Once the products are terminated, your principal and yield will be accrued up to the date of the announcement and credited to the spot wallet within 5 business days from the announcement date.
- Can I terminate the subscription before the maturity date?
- To terminate your subscription, please email info@maicoin.com.
- To terminate the subscription prior to the maturity date, you agree to forgo the yield accrued and be charged a cancellation fee of 3%. If the cancellation fees are under 0.03 ETH after calculation, you will be charged 0.03 ETH; else, the amount of ETH will be deducted from your Yield Wallet until there is no more ETH amount left in your Yield Wallet.
- We will return the fund to your spot wallet within five business days after submitting your requests.
